The kitchen team at the Bergland is led by head chef Roland Auer, who has a passion for local recipes and local ingredients. This is reflected in the food and guests can look forward to their stay in the Ötztal Valley – from our healthy and hearty breakfast buffet to our traditional afternoon snack in summer and gourmet meals and themed buffets in the evening.
We are aware that some of our guests have special dietary requirements. Please do not hesitate to tell a member of staff about your specific needs. Our team of chefs will be happy to take them into account.
The good thing at the Hotel Bergland is that most of the produce served to you on your plate comes from the surrounding area. That includes mountain cheese made on the valley's dairy farms, special pine schnapps, homemade bread, fresh milk and tasty meat. Bon appétit!
