The spectacular Hannibal show in Sölden is arguably one of the greatest live events in the world. Every two years an army of dancers, skiers, base jumpers and motocross riders take to the ice supported by piste groomers, skidoos, planes and helicopters to create a magical spectacle on the Rettenbachferner at 3,000 metres above sea level.

It tells the story of Hannibal's legendary crossing of the Alps on foot. Around 2,200 years ago one of the greatest commanders in history set out with 60,000 men to capture the city of Rome. Today it is the team from lawine torrèn which brings this story back to life every two years.

I shall either find a way or make one.
