For entry into Austria since May 16, 2022 no more detection, registration or quarantine obligation. The only exception to this is entry from states and areas with a very high epidemiological risk. For entry from these states and territories, the 3-G rule applies, registration must be carried out and a ten-day quarantine must be entered.
2-dose vaccinations are valid for 180 days to enter Austria. The booster jab remains valid for 270 days. This new rule includes children aged 12 and over! Children born on or after 1 September 2006 and jabbed longer than 180 days ago can still gain "2-G" status by using the so-called Holiday Ninja Pass. For teenagers born before 1 September 2006, the rules for adults apply. Please note: The second and third dose are valid from day one in Austria.
