Outdoor-Eldorado Area 47

Splish splash!
The 20,000 m² Water Area is made up of a swimming lake, slide park, diving tower, deep water soloing climbing wall and a water jump for creative stunts on bikes, skis, boards and tubes.

Surfing vibes?
At the Wake Area it is all about drawing smooth lines through the water, be it on water skis or a wakeboard. A 420m lift gives access to kickers and boxes for sick tricks on the water..

Rafting, canyoning and caving are three of the best ways to enjoy the mountains of Tyrol. Experienced guides will introduce you to this thrilling world of outdoor adventure sports.

Area 47 is home to the highest forest obstacle course in Austria, featuring a zipwire over the lake and a Mega Swing for those with nerves of steel!

Enduro and motocross are the name of the game as guides show visitors the best trails in the Ötztal. If the weather is bad there is the 3,800m² indoor offroad centre.

Celebrate life - that's the motto in the Party Area: Live concerts, cool DJs and sports events make the Party Area the place to be in Area 47. In summer there is also the Open Air Area and the River Haus Bar.

On a discovery tour in the Ötztal

Located at 2,509 meters, the border pass between Austria and Italy, which is only open in summer, opens up the world of high mountains and alpine nature to travelers in a carefree way. For those nostalgic for two-wheelers, a visit to the "Mountain Crosspoint", home to the new Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum, is recommended. Ötztal Glacier Road

A route that leads towards the ice age: The Ötztal Glacier Road is the highest road in the Eastern Alps (1,350 - 2,820 meters) and leads from Sölden to the two glacier ski areas on the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers. Driving on the toll road you will experience the beauty of the highest angles so close to the sky.

Extravagant architecture in symbiosis with futuristic design and extra comfort make the ride on the new three-cable gondola a special experience: In 12 minutes, the Gaislachkoglbahn takes you from 1,360 to 3,040 meters, where the exclusive Ice Q Restaurant invites you to enjoy an exquisite summit experience.

220 meters above the valley floor, the stories of everyday life recede into the untouched distance. On the panoramic suspension bridge in Längenfeld you can enjoy an unbeatable view - just 15 minutes from Sölden. In keeping with the motto "close your eyes and go for it", all of Längenfeld lies at the feet of those who dare to look down!

The quiet mountaineering village Vent with 150 inhabitants invites you to experience idyll and tradition pure. At an altitude of 1,900 meters, you will discover a completely new world here, far away from the everyday - but you will find yourself more and more on the numerous glacier tours, step by step. Wildspitze, Similaun, Weißkugel and many more promise great experiences in the midst of gentle tourism.

If you listen to the roar of the water and feel the delicate drops of water on your skin while you walk quietly along the paths, you have probably reached the Stuibenfall: the 159-meter-high waterfall is an experience for all the senses, which you can view from a completely new perspective from the via ferrata.

Live, dwell and do business in the footsteps of the famous iceman Ötzi. From the beginning of May to the end of October, you can go on a search for traces of the famous glacier mummy, who is deeply connected to the Ötztal and its mysterious mountains, in the archaeological open-air park.

Ötzer's natural jewel, Lake Piburg, lies at 913 meters above sea level in one of the oldest nature reserves in Tyrol. While bathing, swimming, relaxing and fishing, one experiences a summer like in the old days in front of a magnificent natural scenery.

Off-road experience in the mountain summer: jet down the mountain with mountain carts! With the high-quality and robust fun sports equipment with three tires, safe downhill driving fun is guaranteed for young and old.
