Three locations in Sölden were used during the filming of “James Bond 007: Spectre”. Those can also be explored either on skis or by foot. Follow "the trail of James Bond" and stay in the hotel where Daniel Craig and part of the film crew, such as Dave Bautista, Lea Seydoux and Sam Mendes stayed to draw new energy during the intensive filming.
About the filming locations:
The Gaislachkoglbahn starts in the valley at an altitude of 1.370 metres and leads across the middle station (2.174 metres) to the top of Gaislachkogl at 3.058 metres. You should think carefully about which seat you choose in the ultra-modern lift, because with a little bit of luck you might even catch the seat 007 has been sitting on in the film.
The Ice Q Restaurant at the top of Gaislachkogl is an absolute eye-catcher. The restaurant with the special design is located directly next to the top station of the Gaislachkoglbahn. Guests have an amazing view of the surrounding mountain panorama from the glass building and on sunny days you can even enjoy the view from the terrace.
A secret mission, an attractive Bond girl and an adversary that makes life difficult. But no James Bond movie is complete without an action-packed chase! The Glacier road, which stretches out from Sölden to two glaciers, offers the perfect scenery. A snow-covered road, imposing mountains and exciting tunnels provide breathtaking action, just like in the film.
